Affiliations

In 1997, the University of Michigan became a founding member of the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure, or NPACI.  NPACI was centered at the San Diego Supercomputing Center and affiliated with compute resource member universities: Texas, Caltech, UC Berkeley, and Michigan. The NSF funding for NPACI ended on schedule (after extensions) in the spring of 2005.

Following NPACI, the CAC's affiliations have become much more central to the University of Michigan. We work closely with researchers and research groups to provide them with appropriate computational resources, either out of our existing pool or by helping them add resources to our infrastructure. If you are interested in working with us to meet your computational needs, please contact us.
